Starscraper

Premise

Humanity has deserted the earth in search for a future amongst the stars. You're the leader of one of the many cities that is constructed in the harsh reality of space. It's your job to make sure the city prospers and keeps expanding, against all odds. On your journey you'll meet a variety of characters and encounters, some friendly and others not so much. Can you brave the dangers and keep your city thriving?

Gameplay

Starscraper is part city builder/management and part adventure game. Each time you start a new encounter your city will advance and you'll be faced with a new choice to make. Only by managing your city and resources well will you be able to make it to the end.

Credits

This game was part of the 2024 GMTK game jam with the theme "Built to Scale". I've used various asset packs from Humble Bundle and Fanatical for the sounds, music and 3D models. All coding and design work is done by me.
